The Moon Stays
Project -One
Materials- Canvas and Acrylic Paint
Any where on earth, there is a moon. China, there's a moon, Iowa, the moon is still there. No matter where you are, the moon will be there, easy to see or behind clouds. This is one of the consistency that comes with change. It represents the similarities that can be found with change. It feels like a lot is changing as life goes on, but it is easy to see with this piece that if you look for it, things can still be the same.
Change
Project- Two
Materials- Matt board, Acrylic Paint and Sharpie Marker
Humans want change, No matter where you come from, or how you communicate that, it's still there. Any invention, moving, rearranging. We aren't happy with constant similarities. Change is needed to make us happier. I wanted to demonstrate that it doesn't matter how you say it, change builds up humans. If people wouldn't strive for change, things would not be where we are today. There are benefits of change and drawbacks of change. The thing about that, humans aren't perfect. More times than not, we don't know which one it is until it's done.
Normal?Really?
Project- Three
Materials- PrismaColor Pens, Drawing paper, Sharpie
One person can really make a difference. With everyone's high expectations it is easy to feel like you aren't good enough. I want to portray that just because you don't meet everyone's "normal you are not any less than them. The more you travel, the more you see people, it becomes easier to compare yourself to people. It becomes easier for your self esteem to go down.
