Blobbette
Project:Color
Materials:Canvas, Acrylic Paint, Texture Medium
This project isn't about the girl at all. I used texture to get my meaning across. The hair is trying to cover up the texture which is supposed to be a problem. Its supposed to mean that even though you try to cover up a problem, it still shows and sometimes gets worse.
Handing it Down
Project:Texture
Materials: Canvas, Acrylic Paint
This project changed a lot during the process of making it. I chose to do it like this because, for one, it pushed me and for two, I wanted to work with something new. I like how this turned out. The meaning for this piece is to show that our generation is going to have to accept and continue what the generation before us has done.
Out Of The Box
Project: Watercolor
Materials: Watercolor paper,Watercolor paint, Gum tape
I think this is the project that I learned the most from. The meaning for this is to think outside of the box. I used the gum tape because of the color. I wasn't focusing on the details because usually watercolor doesn't have much detail.
Just Let Go
Project: Choice
Material: Mat Board, Ink, Alcohol, Calligraphy Pens
This piece was all about letting go. I wanted to to something that was about not having control. I got the idea from the material I used. It is something you cant have control over. It goes wherever it wants to and there isn't much you can do to change that. You have to just go with it and let go in order to be able to work with this project.
